I love him

He truly is my whole world. I would be completely lost without him. He makes me want to wake up every morning and wish that the days never had to end so I could play with him forever. He sometimes makes me cry just looking at him because he's the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me, he sometimes makes me cry when he head-butts me in the mouth, but he ALWAYS makes me so happy that I just don't know what to do with myself.

I love his hugs and his kisses, I love the way he periodically checks to make sure I'm still there while he's playing, I love the way he laughs, and I love the way he snuggles when he's tired.

I love this little boy, more than I ever thought possible. It is pure, unconditional love and I would do anything and everything to keep him happy. I am so grateful that he is in my life. I can't believe in just a few short months he'll be a whole year old!

Now that I have successfully made myself cry, I am done. I can't wait until he wakes up and I get to snuggle with him and kiss his chubby cheeks again. I love him.

Johnny Jump up!

Ashtons cousin Chloe let him borrow her Johhny Jump up until she's old enough to use it. He loves jumping! Also Ashtons cousin Alex has spent the night with us this week and Ash loves hanging out with the "big boys"

Mommys little scooter!

Ashtons getting so close to crawling! Right now he scoots his booty on the floor and let me tell you he can scoot about 4 feet! Its the cutest thing ever! Here's a video of Ash playing in his room.. he's 7.5 months!

Hola friends and family!

I decided to join the band wagon and make a family blog. This way family and friends can see new pictures and videos of my beautiful family! Oscar (daddy) and I (Kristin) have known each other 4 years and have been together for 2. We have an adorable 7 month old son named Ashton Cruz Mijares. You will be seeing a lot of him :)

My names Kristin and I'm a stay at home mom to Ash and our cat Batman. I love photography and web design! I love being a mom! Every morning I look forward to waking up and seeing those big brown eyes and his adorable gummy smile!

My boyfriend Oscar is a wonderful dad and excellent provider! He puts family first and is so uplifting! He inspires me everyday. Ashton and him have such and amazing bond. I love watching them play and learn from each other.

Our pride and joy is our baby boy Ashton! He was born October 27, 2008 at 6:34pm; weighing in at 6lbs 13oz and 19 inches long. He enjoys attacking our family cats tail, eating puffs, playing in his exersauser and jumping in his new Johnny Jump up!
